Dr Daniel Su recently collaborated with ASPIRE55 and Ageing Asia to conduct 1 webinar and produce 3 videos to explain eye diseases that commonly occur in persons more than 40 years old. Aspire55 is Asia’s first virtual retirement village and it promotes active ageing by offering social, health and care services to seniors. Through the webinar and the videos, Dr Su discussed tips on caring for your eyes and explained cataract, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy in simple language that is easy to understand. He also described treatment for these conditions and encouraged those above 40 to undergo regular eye examinations to facilitate early diagnosis and treatment and prevent irreversible loss of vision.
